ABOUT NICHOLAS SAREMI
Nicholas Saremi is a classical voice artist who is currently singing and teaching in Los Angeles, CA. In 2015, he graduated from The Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, where he received a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance. Throughout his performing career, Nicholas has established himself as a pop-classical crossover artist. As a recording artist, his flexibility in singing both styles of music sets him apart in his field. In 2012, he released a music video on YouTube dedicated to the victims of the Aurora theatre shooting, which received over 16,000 views. Nicholas has always been involved within his community, and desires to continue giving back through his music. Nicholas continues to record covers of today’s most popular hits, which you can find on his social media accounts.
At The University of Denver, Nicholas sang in multiple solo concerts, as well as holding roles in all of the main stage productions such as Faust, Le Nozze di Figaro, Hansel and Gretel, Susannah, Don Giovanni, and South Pacific. In addition to his major, Nick completed a minor in Italian studies. During his five months abroad in Italy, Nick performed with the International Lyric Academy as Monostatos in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. While studying with famous Italian Soprano Patrizia Zanardi, he developed a deep passion for the Italian culture.
Aside from his performance career, Nicholas has started a voice studio in his hometown of Thousand Oaks, CA. His students range from middle school through high school, with students starting at a beginner level to students looking to fine tune their instrument and pursue music through college. In fall of 2015, Nicholas was hired as the vocal coach for Westlake High School’s production of Grease! Today, Nicholas is excited to be starting his second academic year as the Assistant Choir Director at Los Cerritos Middle School.
